ABOUT QADIM HUB

Qadim Hub, UNIMAS is part of the Knowledge for Change (K4C) Hub Consortium, an initiative of the UNESCO Chair in Community-Based Research and Social Responsibility in Higher Education.

Located in the heart of Borneo, Qadim Hub offers structured training in Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) through community-led projects across the region. We bring together diverse stakeholders to co-create knowledge that supports social and environmental sustainability.

Established in 2021 under the University Sustainability Centre (USC) at UNIMAS, Qadim Hub builds on the university’s long-standing commitment to community engagement. Aligned with UNIMAS’s motto, “Community-driven university for a sustainable world,” our academics have worked closely with local communities for over 30 years to foster meaningful, lasting change.
